HIST 4140 - The United States West

3 credit hours

Prerequisites: Six hours of HIST 2010, HIST 2020, HIST 2030, HIST 2040, or HIST 2050. Emphasis on the area west of the Mississippi River from pre-contact to the twenty-first century. Explores major social, political, economic, and environmental issues with particular attention to race, class, gender, and the original inhabitants.
