Founded in 1911, Middle Tennessee State University was the oldest and largest member of the Tennessee Board of Regents system until it was granted its own governing board in 2017. It is the number one choice of Tennessee’s transfer students and adult learners and the number one producer of undergraduate degrees in the Greater Nashville region. MTSU also provides graduate education opportunities ranging from traditional academic-focused disciplines to professional degrees.
