HIST 2040 - Survey African American History I

The role of African Americans in establishing and shaping the American nation. Covers their historical development and contributions to American art, music, literature, and religion. May be used to satisfy one part of the General Education History requirement.

NOTE: HIST 2040 is not a prerequisite for HIST 2050.
