Museum Studies Minor

The Museum Studies minor requires 18 hours and will supplement the Art History concentration by providing practical preparation and experiential learning opportunities to students desiring to pursue future careers as museum curators or educators, and/or graduate studies in museology or art history. Students interested in this minor include not only art history, art education, visual arts, studio arts and graphic design majors in the Department of Art and Design, but potentially majors in anthropology, archaeology, and history who are interested in art museum practices as complimentary to their fields of study.
