MATH 3020 - Applied Calculus III

3 credit hours
Prerequisites: MATH 1810  and MATH 1820 . In-depth study of continuity of single variable functions; inverses of functions; differentiation and integration of various functions including trigonometric functions, logarithmic functions, exponential functions, power functions, and piecewise functions; methods of integration; the Riemann Sum, extensive applications of the fundamental theorem of calculus, and arc length of a curve. Emphasis on real-world applications.
