MATH 1810 - Applied Calculus I3 credit hours Prerequisite: Eligibility to take MATH 1710 . First of a four-course sequence. Introduces mathematical modeling applied to real-world problems. Sets, functions, inverse models, limits, continuity, first and second order model building, single variable differentiation, implicit differentiation, inverse problems (exponential and log models). First and second derivatives used to study the behavior of real-world applications.
