CHEM 3850 - Environmental Field and Laboratory Methods3 credit hours Prerequisite: CHEM 1120 /CHEM 1121 ; sophomore or higher level. Provides students with the practical tools necessary to evaluate an environmental question, develop an investigative plan, carry out the sampling and analysis from environmental matrices, and evaluate and present the results. A hands-on laboratory and field-based course. Students will learn how to collect, preserve, and analyze samples commonly measured for environmental assessment.
