FERM 5560 - Applied Fermentation: Biomass and Biofuels

Survey of fermentation as a means of bioenergy production, downstream processing to purify bioenergy, the range of biofuels produced by various biomass (e.g. grains, algae, and renewable sources) and mathematical evaluation of product recovery and energy balance.
