GEOL 5040 - Engineering Geology3 credit hours
Prerequisites: GEOL 1030/1031 or GEOL 1040/1041 or equivalent; MATH 1710 and 1720, or MATH 1730, or equivalent. Principles and applications of geology in engineering practice. Engineering geology exploration, behavior of soils and rocks for engineering projects, application of engineering geology to the solution of construction and environmental problems. Three hours lecture per week.
