HIST 5212 - Intellectual and Cultural History of Early Modern Europe3 credit hours Major trends and movements in artistic, literary, social, economic, political, scientific, and religious thought in cultural context and diffusion in society; how these trends and movements have changed European concepts since the Enlightenment. Begins about 1200 to establish a background and then focuses on 1400 to 1789.
