CHEM 5600 - Introduction to Environmental Chemistry3 credit hours Introduces major environmental issues including climate change, water quality, air pollution, landfills, hazardous wastes, fossil fuels, and alternative energy. Explores the quality of the environment and the changes in the environment due to contamination. Offered every fall.
NOTE: Graduate standing is the prerequisite for graduate courses in chemistry. The 5000-level courses also have the same prerequisites as listed for the corresponding 4000-level courses in the undergraduate catalog.
