The program leading to a major in Agribusiness is designed for students who are interested primarily in the non-farm phases of agriculture.
A major in Agribusiness requires a minimum of 43 semester hours of courses to include
- 21 hours in Agribusiness;
- an additional six (6) hours from ABAS as indicated under the Agribusiness major requirements; and
- a general core of ABAS 1000 , ABAS 1410 , ABAS 1610 , ABAS 2210 , ABAS 3010 , and ABAS 4100 . (ABAS 3010 not required for majors taking YOED 4110 or participating in judging teams.)
A minor from another department is required.

NOTE:
*Students taking YOED 4110 or participating in judging teams may substitute ABAS 4480 or ABAS 4590 .
**Internship courses may not be used to fulfill this requirement. |
