The Digital Media Communication concentration is an interdisciplinary program focusing on the development of interactive and new media. With a strong foundation in the rhetorical tradition of content development and visual communication, the program’s practical and theoretical base prepares students for new media professions ranging from media convergence to multiplatform interactive productions.

Admission to Candidacy
To be admitted to candidacy in the Digital Media Communication concentration, the student must meet the following requirements:
- 45 hours completed before applying for candidacy
- Grade of C (2.00) or better in each of the following:
JOUR 1020 /EMC 1020 /RIM 1020
EMC 2500
- Minimum overall GPA in all coursework of 2.50.
- Math course satisfying General Education requirements.
