The Early Childhood Education, Integrated Birth to Age 5 concentration is designed to prepare professionals to work with all children from birth through age five. This program provides a pathway for training individuals interested in supporting young children and their families in non-public school early learning programs, early intervention, Head Start, and non-profit centers. Individuals interested in education without acquiring a teaching license, with a specific focus on children from birth to age five should consider this concentration which includes elective credit hours that allow students to customize the program to meet professional goals (e.g., administration/leadership; supporting children within families; health; nutrition).
