Live Entertainment Minor

The Live Entertainment Minor requires 18 credit hours and provides students with knowledge and skills sought in the business and technical production of live events. Designed for those pursuing careers in live event production, sound reinforcement, concert booking and promotion, venue management, touring, and related fields, the program expands students’ understanding of the industry across multiple areas. This minor may also appeal to students outside the music industry whose careers would benefit from a strong foundation in event planning and production.
