The interdisciplinary Career Readiness minor will supplement the preparation of students from majors across the university through acquisition of knowledge and skills directly related to career readiness as identified by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). Aligned with the framework established by NACE, the foundation of career readiness gained in the minor will enable students, regardless of their field of study and career interests, to develop and demonstrate, “core competencies that broadly prepare the college educated for success in the workplace and lifelong career management.”
The Career Readiness minor requires 15 credit hours as noted below. A grade of C (2.0) or better (or P for courses using Pass/Fail grading) is required in each course completed for this minor.
