The Geography for Teachers career pattern offers preparation for the student to meet professional requirements for teaching geography in the public schools and for graduate studies. This career pattern requires a minimum of 29 hours of departmental core requirements, an 18-hour cognate, a 30-hour Secondary Education Minor , and 41 hours of General Education requirements. Major in Geoscience

All students pursuing the major in Geoscience must complete the following departmental core requirements:
