The minor in Speech and Theatre consists of 15 semester hours. Courses taken for General Education credit (typically COMM 2200 and THEA 1030) may not count toward the minor in Speech and Theatre. A grade of C or better is required on all coursework completed for the minor.
Those students who wish to minor in Speech and Theatre should consult the department chair.
12 semester hours from any combination of courses with a COMM, THEA, or ORCO prefix. At least 6 of the 12 semester hours must be completed at the upper-division (3000 or 4000) level, with at least 3 semester hours at the upper-division level taken through MTSU.
