Health and Human Performance 

The major in Health Education provides basic experiences for those interested in preparing for numerous health and health-related professions. Persons majoring in Health Education may choose from two concentrations: Community and Public Health and Health Education and Lifetime Wellness. Those seeking teacher licensure will complete a Secondary Education minor.

The Health Education and Lifetime Wellness concentration is designed to prepare lifetime wellness instructors for grades 9–12. In consultation with an advisor, the student will include the curriculum below.

Curricular listings include General Education  requirements in Communication, History, Humanities and/or Fine Arts, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Social/Behavioral Sciences categories.
