ACSI 6120 - Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models in Actuarial Science3 credit hours Prerequisite: ACSI 6110 or permission of instructor. Examines the application of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and large language models (LLMs) to contemporary actuarial practice. Topics include advanced predictive modeling for pricing and reserving, as well as the application of large language models and natural language processing (NLP) techniques to analyze claims and contracts. Emphasis is placed on the integration of these modern tools with traditional actuarial techniques, as well as the governing ethical and regulatory considerations.
