ENGR 4540 - Thermodynamics for Engineers

3 credit hours
Prerequisites: MATH 3110  and PHYS 2110 /PHYS 2111 . Introduction to applications of the first and second laws of thermodynamics to energy transformation processes. Study of heating/cooling systems, overview of various mechanisms of heat transfer. Application of thermodynamics to various gas and vapor power cycles.
