ART 3570 - Connoisseurship: Art Forgery and Fakery

3 credit hours

Prerequisites: ART 1910, ART 1920, and ART 1930 with a grade of C (2.0) or better. Focuses on developing visual analysis skills required in connoisseurship for use in the detection of art forgery and fakery. Students will study cases of art forgery and fakery of both historical and contemporary objects, paintings, drawings, and ancient artifacts.
