PHYS 4380 - Quantum Mechanics

3 credit hours

Prerequisites: MATH 3110, MATH 3120, and PHYS 3110 or PHYS 3160. Topics include both one- and three-dimensional solutions to the Schroedinger equation, including the infinite square-well, finite square-well, tunneling, the harmonic oscillator, and the hydrogen atom with a discussion of angular momentum at a mathematically rigorous undergraduate level.
