MATH 4990 - Seminar in Mathematics

3 credit hours

Open only to Mathematics majors. A capstone seminar designed to help graduating mathematics majors review, learn anew, assimilate, connect, and extend concepts from a wide variety of mathematical subject areas. Students gain a broad perspective of mathematical activity and exposure to the content of the Major Field Test. A satisfactory score on the Major Field Test is required to receive a passing grade.
