PS 5650 - Totalitarianism3 credit hours Prerequisites: PS 1005, PS 1010, PS 1015, or permission of instructor. Examination of totalitarianism as a non-democratic system, movement, and body of ideas concerning human nature, reason, and power. Includes readings in communism, fascism, and dissidents, such as Lenin, Mussolini, Schmitt, Solzhenitsyn, Orwell, Arendt, Havel, and Hoffer.
