PA 6320 - Clinical Pharmacology II

3 credit hours

Prerequisites: Admission to the Physician Assistant Studies program; successful completion of PA 6310. Building on the principles learned in PA 6310 - Clinical Pharmacology I, students will continue to enhance their knowledge regarding the pharmacology of autonomic drugs and various classes of medications used in treating cardiovascular, renal, and gastrointestinal disease. Students will be additionally exposed to other classes of medications affecting smooth muscle. Further emphasis will be placed on additional special topics in pharmacotherapy.
