PA 6120 - Scientific Basis of Medicine II

3 credit hours

Prerequisites: Admission to the Physician Assistant Studies program; PA 6110. Building upon the foundational knowledge from PA 6110, the student will continue to amass a foundational understanding of physiologic and pathophysiologic principles relating to the cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, and renal/male genitourinary systems. Emphasis is placed upon the relationships of the major systems involving the thorax, abdomen, and pelvis.
