PA 6910 - Capstone I

2 credit hours

Prerequisites: Admission to the clinical phase and completion of the didactic phase of the PA program. Capstone I project will be based on a developed research proposal that is selected from a menu of potential approaches, such as a traditional quasi-experimental study, an evidence-based medicine question, a case report, and a comprehensive literature review. The student will formally present the findings to the University community during the Capstone II course. This course takes place during the clinical phase and involves students meeting with their assigned mentor periodically throughout the phase.
