HIST 4520 - Modern Latin America

Prerequisite: Three hours of HIST 1010, HIST 1020, HIST 1110, HIST 1120. Nineteenth- and twentieth-century Latin America. Examines colonial background, then focuses on the post-Independence period. Explores economic, political, social, and cultural developments since Independence.
