Focuses on the structure and function of bioorganic molecules (i.e., peptides, proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, and peptidomimetics), similarities between enzymatic reactions and bench-top organic reactions, and the techniques and instrumentation used to study bioorganic molecules.
