WGST 3900 - Women and Globalism

3 credit hours
Prerequisites: WGST 2100  and ENGL 1020  or ANTH 2010 . Introduces the most relevant issues affecting women globally. Focused survey of the experiences of women around the world. Exposes students to transnational examples and critical ways of thinking about poverty, violence, and resistance. Seeks to further understanding of the global dimensions of gender, race, class, and sexuality.
