ABAS 6550 - Advanced Equine Exercise Physiology

Review and evaluation of current research in equine exercise science; physiologic, metabolic, and mental adaptation to athletic training; bioenergetics of muscle metabolism; nutrition of performance horses; management and training approaches to improve performance and delay fatigue in equine athletes.
