GEOG 4460 - The Cultural Landscape

3 credit hours
Prerequisite: Permission of department. Through behavior, cognition, and perception people assign meaning to the environment and transform spaces into places and create a sense of place. These dynamic processes result in cultural landscapes. Explores the types, methods, and meanings used by geographers to “read” those landscapes constructed by humans.
