PHYS 3600 - Radiation Oncology Physics3 credit hours Prerequisites: MATH 1910 and a one-year introductory sequence in physics. Introduction to field of radiation oncology physics, including a discussion of fundamental physics and techniques associated with the diagnosis and treatment of cancer using electromagnetic radiation and particle beams. Includes experiences in a radiation oncology clinic and interactions with practicing medical physicists.
