PHED 4990 - Seminar in Teaching Physical Education

Prerequisites:   and  . A comprehensive review of the organization and management of physical education, presenting students with skills and strategies for becoming effective beginning teachers. Crucial issues and trends affecting the fields of physical education, including issues of advocacy, legal liability, alternative teaching strategies, ethics and professionalism, diversity, classroom management, and career planning.
