TXMD 3120 - Textiles II

3 credit hours

Prerequisites: TXMD 1110, TXMD 1170, TXMD 2180/TXMD 2181. An overview of quality control using state-of-the-art textile testing equipment. Analysis of fibers and fabrics with emphasis on labwork involving chemical and physical testing. Correlation of test results in predicting fabric performance in relation to end use. Five contact hours per week.
