ENGL 3885 - Gender in Film

3 credit hours

Prerequisite: Completion of 1000- and 2000-level English requirements with a grade of C- or better. Gender representation in film with emphasis on such subjects as masculinity and femininity in film, history of gender representation in film, drag and transgender film images, and images of diversity in gendered film images (e.g., race, class, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation).
