CHEM 1110 - General Chemistry I

4 credit hours
Prerequisites: High school chemistry; CHEM 1010  or equivalent. Corequisite: CHEM 1111 . Fundamental concepts of atomic structure, molecular structure and bonding, chemical reactions, stoichiometric relationships, periodic properties of the elements, thermochemistry, and properties of gases. Three hours of lecture and one three-hour laboratory.
