ART 3880 - Latin American Art

3 credit hours

Prerequisite: ART 1930 or permission of instructor. A survey of the art of Latin America from the period of Independence (1821) to the present, focusing on architecture, sculpture, and painting from Mexico through South America. Impact of these cultural expressions on Hispanic/Chicano/Latino arts of the United States.
