Mathematics for Managerial, Social, and Life Sciences Minor


A minor in Mathematics for Managerial, Social, and Life Sciences consists of 18 semester hours including MATH 1810  or MATH 1910 .The remaining courses must include at least one upper-level course and may be chosen from MATH 1630  or MATH 1730 , MATH 1920 , MATH 2010 , MATH 2050 , MATH 2130 , MATH 3110 , MATH 3120 , MATH 3260 , MATH 3460 , or any upper-level statistics or actuarial science course. NOTE: At most one of MATH 1630  or MATH 1730  may be counted for the minor. A student may count QM 2610  and QM 3620  for the 3-hour MATH 2050  course and may count either CSCI 1160  or CSCI 1170  as one 3-hour course. All courses in the Mathematics for Managerial, Social, and Life Sciences minor must be completed with a grade of C (2.00) or better. All courses transferred from other institutions for credit in the Mathematics for Managerial, Social, and Life Sciences minor must carry a grade of C (2.00) or better and be approved by the department chair.
