The B.S. program in Art Education is designed for those who wish to teach. All students pursuing a major in Art Education are required to complete the General Education requirements as specified by the department and as required for certification. Students should consult with their advisors each semester in order to plan their schedule of courses.

Students majoring in Art Education may minor in Secondary Education  or select any minor and electives in lieu of the Secondary Education Minor.

OR Electives (in lieu of Sec. Ed. Minor) 6-12 hours

*This program requires courses that can also fulfill requirements of the General Education curriculum. If courses for this program are also used to fulfill General Education requirements, the program of study may be completed in 120 hours.

NOTE: If Secondary Education minor selected, minor and electives not taken.
