The major in Health Education provides basic experiences for those interested in preparing for numerous health and health-related professions. Persons majoring in Health Education may choose from two concentrations: Community and Public Health and Health Education and Lifetime Wellness. Those seeking teacher licensure will complete a Secondary Education minor.

The Health Education and Lifetime Wellness concentration is designed to prepare lifetime wellness instructors for grades 9-12. In consultation with an advisor, the student will include the curriculum below.

Curricular listings include General Education  requirements in Communication, History, Humanities and/or Fine Arts, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Social/Behavioral Sciences categories.
