School of Agribusiness and Agriscience 

The program leading to a major in Agribusiness is designed for students who are interested primarily in the non-farm phases of agriculture.

A major in Agribusiness requires a minimum of 43 semester hours of courses to include

  1. 21 hours in Agribusiness;
  2. an additional six (6) hours from ABAS as indicated under the Agribusiness major requirements; and
  3. a general core of ABAS 1000 , ABAS 1410 , ABAS 1610 , ABAS 2210 , ABAS 3010 , and ABAS 4100 . (ABAS 3010  not required for majors taking Secondary Education minor course (formerly YOED 4110 ) or participating in judging teams.)

A minor from another department is required.

Curricular listing include General Education  requirements in Communication, History, Humanities and/or Fine Arts, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Social/Behavioral Sciences categories.

NOTE:


*Students taking Secondary Education Minor course (formerly YOED 4110 ) or participating in judging teams may substitute ABAS 4480  or ABAS 4590 .
