DSGN 3325 - Word and Image3 credit hours Prerequisites: ART 2325, ILLU 3290, and IXD 3930 with a C or better or permission of instructor. Explores the relationship between word and image. Projects focus on visual language, concept, formation, and technical skills. Various design methodologies covered using industry-standard applications. Current designers and design trends introduced. Students must pass a comprehensive portfolio review after DSGN 3325 to enroll in most upper-division Graphic Design courses. Six-hour studio course.
