Prerequisites: C or better in BIOL 2010/BIOL 2011; EXSC 1000, EXSC 3000, EXSC 3500. EXSC 3831 must be taken concurrently. Examines acute response and chronic adaptations of the body to physical activity, exercise, and sports participation, and their impact on homeostasis. Three hours lecture and one two-hour laboratory.
