MRAT 6110 - Production Seminar I

3 credit hours

Prerequisites: MRAT 6040 and MRAT 6050. Studio production course which considers the evolving role of music producer for the 21st century, including audio production techniques and the overall production process, with a focus on the aesthetic, creative, and entrepreneurial aspects of recording studios. For the semester project, students will develop better understanding of the course concepts by acting as producer for a large-format recording project.
