POUL 3700 - Poultry Nutrition and Feeding

Prerequisites: POUL 3490; PSCI 1030 or CHEM 1010 or CHEM 1110; junior or senior level; or consent of instructor. Practical aspects of poultry nutrition including avian digestive anatomy and physiology; nutrient utilization; poultry feedstuffs; poultry feed formulation; feeding programs for broiler breeders, broilers, and table egg layers. Lecture and lab activities.
