BIOL 6190 - Animal Physiological Ecology4 credit hours Prerequisites: Graduate standing and one course in either ecology or physiology. A study of how animals function in and respond to their natural environments with special interest at the biochemical, physiological, morphological, and behavioral levels. Topics include allometry, heat transfer, thermoregulation, energetics, blood circulation, respiration, osmoregulation, locomotion, control systems, and sensory perception. Six hours lecture/laboratory.
