SOC 6545 - Topics in Gender3 credit hours Critical analysis of selected topics in the study of gender in sociology with a focus on such issues as race/ethnicity, social class, work, deviance, and sexuality. Examines the major contemporary scholarly debates about gender and explores how gender is embedded in different institutions and organizations. A maximum of six hours may be credited to one’s major.
