ELED 4410 - Effective Instruction: Integrating Social Studies and Assessment

4 credit hours

Prerequisites: Admission to teacher education program; Interdisciplinary Studies majors must have completed EESE 1010, EESE 1011, ELED 3150, ELED 3300, READ 4015 or READ 4035. Familiarizes teacher candidates with classroom management strategies:4-8, best practices of social studies instruction, and the integration of both with classroom and standardized assessments to enable the planning, design, and implementation of a standards-based social studies curriculum.
